My Current Beauty Wish List

I love reading beauty wish lists. I keep a record of my wish lists on my bullet journal just to remind me to save up and buy any/each of the item as a reward for job well done. We all know how therapeutic shopping can be and seeing my current beauty wish list,  whether it's beauty, books or activities like a bucket list , is very important for me.

Today I’ll be revealing my mid-year beauty wish lists. Here’s a roundup of the best in makeup, hair care and everything in between that I wish to buy or to own in my vanity and makeup collection. I am saving up for each item in the list and hopefully on or before 2017 ends.

MAC Prep and Prime Fix Mist

I have always wanted to buy this product. I want to personally know how prep and prime works. I have read and seen a ton of reviews and testimonials about  MAC Prep and Prime Fix Mist and hopefully this June or probably July I will have  the courage to spend on this.

Currently I’m using L’oreal Infallible Makeup Extender Setting Spray and it works fine for me. I used it on my previous event and I got compliment that I did a good makeup. My makeup did look better as time goes by. I also tried Evia Water Spray and had featured it on past empties post.

Becca Highlighter in Champagne Pop

WOW! I’ve been looking forward to owning a Becca Highlighter in Champagne Pop since I saw Rhaze wear it on some of her videos. It was included on her ride or die makeup and I can see why. The highlight looks sooooo pretty!!! If I ever own this I will promise to take care of it and put it on a special place on my vanity!

Currently I’m using City Color Highlight and Contour Duo. This is more of cream product though so I really wanted to get powder/matte highlight next.

Make Up Forever Ultra HD Liquid Foundation

The holy grail foundation of a lot of beauty and lifestyle bloggers and YouTubers online is Make Up Forever HD Liquid Foundation. And of course, I need to have that on my collection as well. Basing on the reviews it will make your foundation look invisible and natural on camera. It provides medium coverage, lightweight and long wearing high-end foundation as well.

The only HD Foundation I own is HBC San San and I used that product pretty much on every hosting gig I had last year. The foundation is really good when it comes to coverage although you need to prep and prime your skin before putting it to avoid being cakey.

Heroine Make Long and Curl Mascara

Anna Cay popularized Heroine Make Long and Curl Mascara for Filipinas. The product is from Japan and created for a dolly-eyed look.  Too bad the Heroine Make already pulled out their brand before I discovered this. It will make your lashes long, curled, extra black and stay really long. I don’t know where to get this mascara so if you know any Instagram please do let me know.

Etude House’s Curl and Fix Mascara is said to be a good alternative for the Heroine Make.

NARS’ Blush in Orgasm

This is a classic, every-girl-in-the-world must have blush. It gives such a subtle natural rosy glow on the cheeks and it match almost any skin tone. How on earth can I not have this on my beauty wish list, right?! NARS Blush in Orgasm is also a classic favorite in the entire beauty community.

I recently got ELF’s Contouring Blush and Bronzing Duo in  shade Sta. Lucia and I love it. Ordered it on BeautyMNL and arrived safe and sound the following day. The blush was said to be a good dupe for NARS’ Orgasma and Laguna duo. From the swatches online I do think they look the same. You can read my BeautyMNL Shopping Experience here.

Colourpop Lip Mini Set

As much as I want to own every Colourpop Lippie Stix and Liquid Lipstick in the world, I am okey and content with a mini set at the moment. I know I have ton of lip products to spare and a good set which contains nude and warm colors is enough for me like It’s Vintage.

I shared my local liquid lipstick obsession recently. Hope you can check the post.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation

My workmate/seatmate in the office uses this foundation and I it is sooooo beautiful in her skin. The color match perfectly, doesn’t cake and no need for retouch. The coverage is on point and you can still layer the product multiple times. A little goes a long way with Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation so the price is really reasonable.

The only new foundation on my collection at the moment is Maybelline Dream Satin Foundation and I even got it on sale. Maybelline Dream Satin works really well even on the hot weather in the Philippines. It dries matte and gives me a poreless look.

MAC Matte Lipstick in Twig

To add in my MAC Lipstick collection I am looking forward in buying MAC Matte Lipstick in Twig. This is another My Lips But Better type of lip color suitable I really want to own. Twig is deeper in color compared to Mehr and something one can use on an everyday basis.

MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour in Lady-Be Good and Back in Vogue

Another part of my beauty wishlist is MAC Retro Matte Lady-Be Good and Back in Vogue. I’m a huge fan of liquid lipsticks and seeing swatches of MAC Lady-Be Good and Back in Vogue makes me really turned on to the retro matte collection.
A cheaper and local version of MAC Retro Matte I also found out in BeautyMNL is the Matte But Not Flat Liquid Lipstick. I got one in the shade Merlot and adore it so much. The color is like burnt orange but still wearable on an everyday basis. The lipstick stays well and not drying at all. Here's my Youtube Channel: www.youtube.com/c/izzaglinofull

Finishing Powder | Ben Nye Banana, RCMA or Coty Air Spun

Good setting powder is a must for every makeup lovers. Finishing powder like Ben Nye Banana, RCMA or Coty Air Spun blur fine lines and pores, giving you an extra-perfect look. Any of the three I mentioned are famous in the beauty community so I really want to try them out.

Currently I’m using my Fashion 21 Loose Powder in Shade #1 which is the yellowest of the bunch. It is a good mattifier and I even use it on my neck and body sometimes. The yellow undertone will make you look flawless.

Anastasia DipBrow Pomade

The only name you need to know when it comes to perfect looking brows is Anastasia. Anastasia DipBrow Pomade is widely used by a lot of beauty gurus I watch. I’m someone who can’t get out of the house without having my brows done.

I recently got another of Maybelline’s Fashion Brow Palette because I love how it tames my brows making them look fuller and better. The cream part of the trio works like a pomade too only cheaper version. Easy to use and sets like powder. This post shows my brow routine featuring this product.

Clipless Curling Iron

Three or four years ago I bought my first straightening iron, the JML Pro Ceramic Straightening Iron. Up until today I am using it to either straight or curl my hair. But, lately I’ve been eyeing to buy a clipless curling iron because I think it will give me better and longer curls. Also a clipless one is way easier to use.

Any recommendation? I want one that could give me more of a beachy wave type of curls.

Whitening Body Scrub Session

You know my obsession in whitening my skin, right? And I’ve shared the reason why in my All About Effective Whitening Soap in the Philippines post. Hope you don’t judge me for it.

Anyway, I am already looking for a good spa to do this but I do want something I can do on a recurring session and not just once.

Balayage

I want to try this on my hair on or before my birth month begins! I am saving up to get a professional balayage to celebrate my 24th birthday. At the moment my hair is the classic mid crop or long bob with the ends colored (bleached).

Here are my peg Balayage with or without bangs hairs found on the internet.
