It's time to give you the list of the products from makeup to skincare to random ones that become my go-to, most-used and favorite. Welcome to my Monthly Favorites for January!

Maybelline Color Show in Plum Perfect

I've shared in my Life Lately #003 that this lipstick has been my go to. I'm literally obsessed by the color pay off and consistency of the product when applied. Letting my finger disseminate the product makes it stain and natural-looking which is a big factor. I also wore this lipstick during the picture taking for our ID and I love how it looks. It has this wearable vampy-edgy look to it. Read my review HERE.

Scent Station Fantasy by Britney Spears Impression

I've been a big fan of Scent Station ever since. I used to own Ralph Impression because I tend to go for manly scents but this time I tried the best seller, Fantasy by Britney Spears Impression. This scent is more of girly one which is took me about two to three use before getting used to. This scent lasts for a long time which is amazing by the way. You will smell amazing all day and night.  I received compliments regarding my scent with my workmates.

Maybelline Color Show Brow Mascara

This is the very first time that I am using a brow mascara. I used to just go with the common and traditional way of drawing and filling the brows but with this Maybelline Color Show Brow Mascara everything becomes on point. I love using it after I fill in my brows with a pencil or powder. It gives a better color pay-off making my brows still look natural and last all day.

ELF Mechanical Eye Curler

I had this long time ago but after nearly a year and a half it broke. Maybe because of my clumsiness too because I always drop this bad boy. Anyhow, before December ends I bought a new one and since the start of New Year I am using it to clamp my lashes and prepare them for mascara. I fell in love again with how reliable this tool is. Helps in making my eyes look wide awake plus holds the curl better than other curlers.

Olay Total Effects 7 in 1 Pore Minimizer Toner

I have shared my Olay Skincare Haul before and out of the products I bought this will surely be my favorite. I use this from December to January and still has some left to last for another month. I feel like this is the product that really did it for me in terms of fixing my big pores and controlling the oiliness of my face. It has no pungent smell, doesn't irritate the skin and feels like water when used. I love the simplicity of this product and how effective it could be. Gone Girl

This has been my favorite read for January. It is entertaining to read and you can never predict what will happen next. I also see myself with Amy but not the psychopath image of course. It's just that like Amy I tend to be the intimidating kind. I'll be creating a book review about this book for sure and will explain more about this. I enjoyed the first 400 pages but the ending is a bit saddening for me. I don't agree with how the book ended and felt like there's much better way to wrap up the story. After reading the book I immediately watched the movie adaptation and I can say that it stayed faithful to the story.

Beauty Blender

This is one of my best buy from the Noel Bazaar. I love using this to apply my foundation. It gives such an amazing flawless finish plus make it easier for me to blend everything. With this one I can now contour without any worries  of how I will blend everything after. I love using this damp rather than dry it is much nicer to pat on the face.

Thank you for reading. What's your favorite/s for January?

  1. Ever since I discovered Scent Station, it has been my go-to kiosk whenever I want to buy a long lasting perfume but still very inexpensive. My favorite buy is the D&G.
